New Album “Megunticook” to be Released on October 22

After nearly 4 years of work including delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our new full length album, Megunticook is complete and set for an October 22, 2021 release. The new album features 10 original songs penned by frontman Keith Marlowe, and will be released on 180 gram vinyl (including limited edition color vinyl) and digitally on various music distribution platforms (Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, etc.).

The first single, “Without You” will be released in late September and the second single, “Leaving for Ohio” will be released in October. Pre-orders will be available beginning on September 10 through The Miners Bandcamp Page.

The album was recorded at MilkBoy the Studio (basic tracks and mixing) and Marlowe’s Match-up Zone Studio (overdubs and two album tracks) and was mastered at Joe Lambert Mastering by Joe Lambert. Marlowe produced the album and it was engineered by Cody Cichowski (MilkBoy) and Marlowe (Match-up Zone). Marlowe and Cichowksi mixed the album together at MilkBoy.

Megunticook is the full length follow up to the late-2012 EP Miners’ Rebellion, which received critical claim and airplay in both the U.S. and overseas including write-ups on No Depression, Adobe and Teardrops (Top 10 of 2013), Freight Train Boogie, WXPN (Philadelphia) and Radio Free Americana among others.
